Quick one today in the interest of time.

Terrarium vouchers for lucky draw

So we set up booth at COHASS Day yesterday, which is the annual celebration of the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and also sponsored 2 vouchers for terrariums for the lucky draw in exchange for our logo being featured on their marketing collaterals and a shoutout during the stage announcements. The booth rental was free, as the organising committee wanted to have a flea space where students from the college could showcase their entrepreneurial spirit and I happened to be from the School of Humanities, which meant that Frond was eligible for the booth space.

As I was also a part of the event's organising committee, I wasn't able to stay at the booth throughout the event but I was able to help with the setting up and the tearing down. From what I saw though, there was quite alot of traffic but perhaps the students weren't interested? Thus it didn't translate into an equal amount of sales. I checked with the other booth vendors and they weren't selling as well either, except for one accessories booth that was selling their accessories for a low price.

I guess the broke arts student stereotype has some truth to it after all.

Till the next post!
