Entry #7

We met up at Cleo's house for our first batch of production. We finalised on a few themes that we are going to replicate to make our production more efficient. Our aim is to complete at least half of our forecast for our upcoming whitesands event, which all of us are feeling excited as it is our first event.

Ram went ahead to Hua Hng to get the soil for our production. Despite being on a cab, he decided to alight early and walk the rest of his way in. UNDER THE HOT SUN. While waiting for him, we decided to setup by preparing the gravel and the soil for the terrarium.

The plants from Pick A Plant came in a box and it was rather sturdy hence we decided to keep it for the transportation for our event. Even though replicating designs sounded easy, we only completed 18 by lunchtime, which could have been better.

After lunch, Ram had to rush off for his other project, which meant that we have to pick up our pace to hit our target. The more terrariums we did, we found it easier to replicate the design. We also stopped trying to replicate a design 100%, which allowed us to pick up speed and add a little bit more variety of designs.

At the end of the day, we only managed to complete half of our forecast hence we have to meet up again to finish the rest. The next time will definitely take lesser time as we are gradually getting used to the process.
