As an individual who was exempted from Mother Tongue during the A levels, I had always thought my command of chinese was decent. It was until I met Taobao, where I had my doubts if I actually learnt Chinese language.

Previously I shipped out a total of 7 orders to their local warehouse, one of which was a mistake so I tried to refund it, which leaves me to 6 remaining orders to ship out. However, taobao only displayed 5 orders for me to ship out. I started panicking as we paid for the local shipment for 7 orders, I could not understand what were they trying to say in the order details.

I contacted their online support system and their AI could not understand my question. After many tries, I finally came in touch with their customer support whom explained the order details. Apparently they had combined two orders into a single shipment, hence I was only allowed to select 5 shipments.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to my language teachers throughout my learning journey.
