Succulents were decided as the main type of plant for our terrariums. I had to start to search and call up potential suppliers for the succulent plants and the soil for them. Apart from that, my group also needed colourful sand for the designing of the terrariums. Comparisons between the suppliers were made based on:

• Price of the succulents
• Price for the soil
• Whether there is any special pricing for bulk orders
• The delivery charge
• Time taken for delivery

I called up three different suppliers and compared their prices. The three suppliers were Pick-A-Plant, Hua Hng Trading Company and Candy Floricuture. The prices offered are as follows:

Through the comparison of the 3 suppliers, Pick-A-Plant offered the best pricing for the succulent plants in a bulk order. Hua Hng Trading Company had the best pricing for the soil with $4.50 for 7 litres. Through Hua Hng Trading Company, we would also be able to obtain the colourful sand.

21st October was decided to be the day that we would start the R&D for the designing of terrariums and I have to make sure that all these supplies would be ready for the day.
