Entry #3

It's been ten days since I bought the succulent and air plant. So far, both plants are looking the same and I believe are doing well as shown in the pictures below.

Among the two, I feel that the succulent plant(left) needs lesser maintenance as I only had to water it once a week whereas the air plant(right) had to be watered once in two days. Apart from that, the air plant would be totally drenched after watering and effort is needed to ensure that it is dry within 3 to 4 hours so that it would not rot. The succulent plant does not have this problem as only the soil needs to be watered.

Through research, I noticed that most succulent plants are aesthetically pleasing and would make a terrarium look beautiful. However, I did not feel this for the case of most of the air plants. Currently, I'm leaning towards using succulent plants for the terrariums but we shall see.
