Jiaxin Entry #9
Finally, the exams are all over. It is time to be back on track for our business.
This morning, we had a consultation session with Mr Roderick and Ms Lily from Mediafreaks where we updated them on Frond’s current progress.
I started off by giving them an overview of what we had done so far and tried summarizing the details and results of TGIF Bazaar at White Sands. We also talked about the problem that we currently face which is having the sand of our terrarium shifting very easily.
Some of the feedbacks that we had received were:
- To prevent sand from shifting, we can shake the glass to stabilize the sand during the making of terrariums or apply starch glue that is dissolvable.
- We should have a more structured plan for our marketing that can leverage on the various online media to reach out to our target customers.
- We should always go down to the location beforehand for a site survey, where we observe the traffic flow so that our terrariums could better cater and appeal to the market segment there.
Currently, I have been using an excel sheet as a social media schedule to plan out the date of posting, type of posts, captions and tags that should be used. Once this is done, Cleo will design the respective posts, and edit the captions.
Despite the social media schedule, the dates of posting are often delayed. To be consistent in our postings, I would have to be firm and stick to the schedule strictly. This will prevent us from having a backlog of posts, customers will be reminded of us from time to time as the posts are well spread.
I will be discussing and coming up with a better social media plan with Cleo and will ensure that our schedule is well adhered to.
After our consultation , we headed down to Cheryl's house to make the terrariums for the upcoming event at OCBC Centre this coming week (10&11 Dec) .
Above are some of the terrariums that we have managed to complete.
Looking forward to our first corporate event that will be exclusive to OCBC staffs!
Till the next post!
