Jiaxin Entry #13
After considering different options to sell our extra stocks of plants, our team decided to paint on terracotta pots and repot the plant into them. Cleo was back from her holiday which definitely boost the team’s confidence in our new idea.
On Tuesday, we went to Cheryl’s house to paint the terracotta pots. As usual, Cleo impressed all of us with her aesthetic designs.
As I am not really good in drawing, I decided to make a geometric painted pot simply by pasting paper tapes, and painting over the tape.
Once I am done with painting, I removed the tape. Voila! It creates a very neat outline.
Next, I decided to make a unicorn pot as unicorns are well liked by many these days, with our unicorn figurines often in high demand. I added glitter on the horn, to make it stand out.
Lastly, I made a simple one by sprinkling glittery star on it.
On the other side, Cleo was painting sushi inspired pots and the rest painted pots that consists of fruits, Christmas themed and animals
The next day, we headed to Ram’s place to touch up the terrariums that have been shifted during transportation after the OCBC event and made a couple of new terrariums. This time, we focused on creating Christmas themed ones with our xmas figurines.
We also replicated designs of those that were sold out fast at the OCBC event.
With our pots painted, plants repotted, and touch up for terrariums done, we are all ready for the Christmas bazaar at City Square Mall tomorrow!
Cleo and I have posted details of the event on our Instagram to inform our followers where we will be at next.
Looking forward to a great weekend!
Till the next post!
